‘palm’ is a brooch, with a suggestion in the shape to put the wearer’s hand on it
Along with ‘reconnecting hemispheres,’ and ‘tempering the thymus’, palm is a work from ‘reconnect.’ In this collection I make objects and jewellery that remind the wearer to do physical exercises that help cope with trauma, stress and fatigue.
The exercises release electrochemical impulses that go to the central nervous system and thus cause lasting change.

The brooch invites the wearer to place one hand on the heart, the other on the head. Thus a kind of cocoon is formed. It can bring peace at busy times, or extra connection during a quiet time.
