This is the installation I created for my bachelor’s degree.
Because I only work with recycled materials, my search for materials is a search through others. I wrote the names of all the people who helped me with this project on a plant label. They received a plant next to their name. And I connected everyone who knew each other with a bobbin and copper wire, similar to what is done in a vegetable garden to sow in rows.
Visitors could walk barefoot through a tray of seeds. Their footsteps grew into sprouted footprints, and in this way their presence also became part of the project. Some left new input and new connections to continue the project.
